Camp Costs & Financial Aid
One of the most powerful aspects of Camp Iron Sights is the remoteness which also makes it very expensive to operate as everything has to be flown in. As an example the electricity bill is around $300 a day, food costs an average of $200 a day per person and a one-way flight can cost around $2000. Our current 9 day summer camp costs $7,000 per camper and includes all meals, lodging, activities and charter flights between Rainy Pass Lodge and Anchorage.
