This 3-night retreat in the middle of the Alaskan Wilderness is the perfect chance to disconnect from the world so you can reconnect with your spouse! Join us for this limited event at the world-renowned Rainy Pass Lodge featuring the husband-and-wife team "When a Comedian meets a Marriage Counselor" Nationally recognized comedian Robert G. Lee will break the ice with a comedy routine about being married and his wife Anne with her years of marriage counseling will bring in some practical strategies on how to improve and grow your relationship.
Featuring five sessions with Robert and Anne, including Q&A's and personal discussion time for couples, as well as down time in between sessions to enjoy the wilderness with a mix of guided activities like horseback riding and hiking and unguided activities to give couples a chance to connect, like a nice canoe ride on the lake or roasting smores by the campfire.
This retreat is approached through a Christian, faith-based Lense, but without coming down hard on couples as we realize everyone is in a different place in their walk with God. We believe that Christ-centered biblically based teachings are the best way for lasting success in your marriage.
Three primary segments of the retreat include: HUMOR - HEALING - HOPE
With some other highlighted material to include:
- Newlywed game
- Four A's - Attuned, Alert, Available and Affectionate
- Communication
- Personal testimonies from Robert and Anne
- Biblical perspectives of forgiveness
- Practical tools for an effective marriage
- Fulfilling your partners emotional needs
